Life-Saving Milestones Celebrated on Captiol Hill

In recognition of our 40,000 transplant and 8 million donor milestones, the NMDP hosted a reception on Capitol Hill, January 21st, bringing together NMDP staff, transplant recipients, donors, members of Congress, and their staff. The reception was held in the new Capitol Visitors Center and was a huge success. NMDP CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Chell opened the program with remarks recognizing the significance of these achievements. Following Dr. Chell, Senator Amy Klobuchar (MN-D), offered her praise for these remarkable achievements and stressed the importance of transplantation.
